 Withdrawing from a Course
Students may withdraw from courses passing (W-P) or failing (F-Drop). this option is exercised with counselor and administrative approval according to the following criteria:

l. The option may be considered after the eighth week and before the fifteenth week of each semester.

2. To be granted, the option should not affect graduation requirements, minimum hours, eligibility, etc.

3. To initiate the option request, students should contact their counselor.

A W-P grade has no bearing on the GPA and is recorded on permanent records as W-P.

An F-Drop grade lowers the GPA as does an "F" grade and is recorded as an "F" on permanent records.
