 2008 National Merit Recipients Minimize

Littleton High School is proud to announce the LHS students who have received recognition from the National Merit Scholarship Program.

LHS has two National Merit Semi-Finalists, Sydney Stulock and Sharon Wu. They represent 16,000 students out of over 1.4 million students who took the PSAT in the fall of 2006.  They will be competing for National Merit Scholarships in the spring of 2008.  Eight other students recognized were Commended for their exceptional academic promise; Rachel Blomberg, Caroline Calhoun, Natalie Gallagher, Shannon Howard, Benjamin Lee, Jacob Luoma, David Rolle’, andShannon Seiferth. Although they will not continue in the 2008 competition for National Merit Scholarships, Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.4 million students who entered the 2008 competition by taking the 2006 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®).  In addition, Andrelle Mosby was recognized for The National Achievement Scholarship Program to honor academically promising Black American high students.
