The following guidelines for computer lab signup were developed by the LHS Technology Committee and approved by LHS Administration.
1. A teacher may not sign up for a computer lab for more than three 45 minute periods in one week. If the entire block is needed in the lab, this will count as two 45 minute sessions.
2. A teacher may not sign up for a computer lab for the same period, same day of the week for more than 2 consecutive weeks.
3. Teachers who sign up to use the labs often-even if they are within the above guidelines-should be prepared to be asked to move out of the labs if they are needed by other teachers who have not been able to schedule into the labs for an extended period of time. This would not happen on a last-minute basis – the teacher being asked to move would know at least one week in advance.
4. Teachers must cancel their lab reservation at least one week prior to time slot so other teachers will know space availability. Failure to honor reservation or notice of cancellation will result in loss of reservation privileges for the following month.
Permanently Scheduled Classes - this does not include Wednesday classes since they switch between odd and even schedule days. Please check the calendars themselves for the actual classes that are set for Wednesdays.
